How to Play

Play Amazing World of Gumball Home Alone Survival online for free. In Home Alone Survival, help Gumball survive the feral ruins of his house until his parents come back. Forage for food and crafting items and build an encampment to help keep your needs met. Watch out for Darwin, though. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

  • Starting the Game
    • Select the white play button to load the welcome screen.
    • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
    • A cutscene comic will play explaining the premise of the game.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
    • Game Controls
      • Desktop
        • Use the arrow keys to move.
        • Use the Z key to interact with or hit objects.
        • Use the X key to eat.
        • Use your mouse left click button to select and drag items from your inventory if you want to drop them so you can pick up food to eat. You can then pick up the items you set down.
        • Touchscreen devices
          • Although the game might load on touchscreen devices, its controls were optimized for desktops with keyboards.
          • Controls & Indicators
            • The bottom center shows the following indicator:
              • Your current health, represented by hearts
              • Your food meter, represented by granola bars
              • Your boredom meter
              • The notepad and pause button are on the top right corner of the screen.
              • A meter across the top of screen shows how far your parents have went on their trip and then how far back toward home they have traveled.

                • Main goals
                  • Keep Gumball alive until his parents arrive.
                  • Build a camp to improve your health and morale.
                  • Avoid getting hit by Darwin.
                    • Staying alive
                      • You may die of the following causes:
                        • Starvation
                          • To avoid this, eat.
                          • Foraged ingredients will suffice in a pinch.
                          • Cooked food is more filling.
                          • Boredom
                            • Breaking things, talking to Anais, or crafting will help you stay entertained for a little while.
                            • Playing Tic Tac Toe with Anais will boost your boredom meter higher.
                            • Loss of health
                              • Avoid getting attacked by Darwin.
                              • Use a medical inventory to craft bandages to heal yourself.
                              • Build up your camp and keep foraging to make sure your needs are met.
                              • While you can meet some of your needs just by foraging, you will need the items of the camp to fulfill them efficiently.
                                • Foraging
                                  • Attack bushes and random objects to find items to eat or craft with.
                                  • Some objects can only be found in specific rooms in the house.
                                    • Medical kids can be found in the bathroom, upstairs.
                                    • A picture of Penny can be found in Gumball’s and Darwin’s bedroom
                                    • You only have 6 slots, so make them count.
                                      • Identical items will be grouped together.
                                      • Select some of the items you don’t need to make room.
                                      • If there’s any food, you can eat it to make room.
                                      • Camp building
                                        • Collect enough materials to create a full campsite.
                                        • Each build site in the camp is represented by a circle in the yard.
                                        • You can build the following items:
                                          • Shelter
                                          • Medical inventory
                                          • Shrine to Penny
                                          • Game
                                          • Campfire
                                          • Crafting station
                                          • Inventory box – store extra items need to build any of the above while emptying out your carrying inventory
                                          • Crafting
                                            • Use the foraged items to make food and other useful implements.
                                            • The notebook will show you the stuff you need for crafting items and buildings.
                                            • Surviving Darwin
                                              • Darwin has gone feral and will attack Gumball at the slightest provocation.
                                                • You will see crosshairs around Gumball every time Darwin is in a room.
                                                • The key to avoiding his attacks is to run away into another room. Do not try to grab any items from the room. Immediately go to the next room.
                                                • He will attack you if the crosshairs flash white for too long.
                                                • He will be more and more frequent as the game progresses.
                                                • Consider building a hair blower weapon to fend Darwin off.
                                                • Build order
                                                  • The first thing you need to build is a campfire to cook food.
